Korean atomic bomb victims will undertake a nationwide U.S. speaking tour from April 21 to May 3, 2026, visiting major cities including Seattle, San Francisco, Los Angeles, Washington, D.C., and New York.
During the tour, first- and second-generation victims will share firsthand testimonies on the enduring impacts of the 1945 atomic bombings and call for a U.S. apology and compensation. The tour also aims to raise international awareness of the long-overlooked experiences of Korean atomic bomb victims.
The delegation will participate in the 11th NPT Review Conference at the United Nations in New York, hosting a side event on April 30 and delivering an NGO presentation on May 1.
In addition, the tour will promote the upcoming International People’s Tribunal on the 1945 Atomic Bombings (Seoul, November 13–15, 2026), calling for global civil society engagement.
